Coho, Silver Salmon spawning colors - Oncorhynchus kisutch This is a male Coho Salmon, also known as a Silver Salmon. This Coho Salmon is a reproduction of a male spawning salmon. This Coho Salmon, was 20 pounds and 35" long. The Coho salmon was caught in October, way up a remote river in Southeast Alaska. Coho Salmon come in all sorts of colors as they make their way from the ocean to their spawning grounds. Coho Salmon make beautiful fish mounts.
